Our GPs offer skin checks, examining moles for possible signs of skin cancer. We use the latest technology to monitor changes in the appearance of moles and skin spots and treat skin cancers and perform excisions.

Chronic Decease Management

Our doctors can provide management plans for patients who suffer with a chronic medical condition.

A chronic medical condition is one that has been present for at least six months or longer, such as:

  • Asthma
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Musculoskeletal conditions

Chronic disease management plans are designed by general practitioners for patients who have complex conditions that require ongoing care.

Team Care Arrangement

If you have a chronic medical condition and complex care needs requiring multidisciplinary care, your GP may also develop Team Care Arrangements (TCAs).

Health Assessments

Our doctors can provide health assessments for

  • People aged 45-49 years who are at risk of +developing chronic disease
  • People aged 75 years and older
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who are less than 15 years old
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults who are aged 15 years and over but under the age of 55 years
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults who are aged 15 years and over but under the age of 55 years

Telehealth – GP

Our telehealth consultations enable patients to receive quality care remotely from the comfort of their homes.

How does telehealth work?

At your telehealth consultation, you will be able to speak to our doctors on the telephone and discuss your concerns during the consultation. Please discuss and advise staff if you require a longer consultation to discuss multiple issues.

Minor Procedures

Our treatment room is new and modern with operating lights, electrical beds and all the latest medical equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Under the National Immunisation Program, free flu vaccines are provided to the following groups who are at higher risk of complications from flu:

  • Children aged 6 months to less than 5 years.
  • All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over.
  • People aged 6 months and over with certain medical conditions that increase their chance of severe influenza and its complications.
  • pregnant women (at any stage during pregnancy)
  • People aged 65 years and over.

The patient's usual medical practitioner should provide GPMP and TCA. You’re a patients ‘usual medical practitioner’ if you:

  • Have provided the majority of services to the patient in the past 12 months.
  • Will provide the majority of services in the following 12 months.

A chronic medical condition is one that has been present for at least six months or longer, such as:

  • Asthma
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Musculoskeletal conditions

A health assessment should generally be undertaken by the patient’s ‘usual doctor’, that is, the medical practitioner (or medical practitioner in the same practice) who has provided the majority of services to the patient in the past 12 months, and/or is likely to provide the majority of services in the following 12 months.

The following categories of health assessments may be undertaken by a medical practitioner.

  • A health assessment for people aged 45-49 years who are at risk of developing chronic disease
  • A type 2 diabetes risk evaluation for people aged 40-49 years with a high risk of developing type 2 diabetes as determined by the Australian Type 2 Diabetes Risk Assessment Tool
  • A health assessment for people aged 75 years and older
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who are less than 15 years old
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults who are aged 15 years and over but under the age of 55 years
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander older people who are aged 55 years and over.

We send a SMS message to patients through HotDoc if they need a non-Urgent appointment and our clinical team will contact patients directly it it’s Urgent. We are encouraging patients to book an appointment with the doctor after one week of the tests done to discuss the results.
