Dr Ponnusamy, lovingly called by her patients as "Sangee" completed her Primary Medical Qualification in 2001. She is an Australian trained Specialist General practitioner with passion for Preventative and Holistic family care. She is a mother of two children and has a strong belief in making positive difference to families through Primary health care.
Dr Sangee has worked in many Government and Private hospitals in both Primary and Tertiary care settings. She has wide experience in Women’s health including Antenatal, Postnatal care, Child Health, ENT(Ear, nose and throat), Eye care, Skin, Contraception, Sexual health medicine, and management of chronic diseases like Diabetes, Thyroid problems, obesity, hypertension, kidney diseases, Asthma, allergies and COPD.
She offers range of services including full body skin check, skin cancer removal, and other surgical procedures including contraceptive implant insertion/ removal, removal of ingrown Toe nail. Her special interest is in Child and Adolescent mental health. Outside work she loves Music, yoga, meditation and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
